With built-in storage for up to 365 days of footage, they eliminate the need for costly NVRs, DVRs, or servers. Verkada cameras save footage on-site and only send quick snapshots to the cloud. Your video recordings are saved on the camera by default. You can choose to back up this footage to the cloud for an extra layer of security. Cloud backups are stored for 30 days, with the option to extend this period.
When the Verkada camera reaches its storage capacity, it begins removing the earliest recorded footage to accommodate new video content.
